Explanation: What are these humans doing? Dancing. Many humans on Earth exhibit periods of happiness, and one method of displaying happiness is dancing. Happiness and dancing transcend political boundaries and occur in practically every human society. Above, Matt Harding traveled through many nations on Earth, started dancing, and filmed the result. The video is perhaps a dramatic example that humans from all over planet Earth feel a common bond as part of a single species. Happiness is frequently contagious -- few people are able to watch the above video without smiling.
 It is currently 64 degrees Fahrenheit (17.7 Celsius). It feels amazingly wonderful although it is not my preference for February. I would prefer it to be cooler. We are expecting a thunderstorm in about an hour. I love thunderstorms so my night is looking pretty good. I've been outdoors enjoying it all in short sleeves. I'll be reading now and awaiting the storm. How about you? What is your ideal temperature? Do you prefer it to be warm and balmy, blistering hot, cold for a nice fire or moderate?
There is rain... lots of rain, which is nice because it 
has been a while. It comes in varying degrees from light to torrential... back and forth... and there is a lot of thunder and lightning. I love storms. I wish you were all here to see it with me. Have a wonderful weekend.

I have tried to spare you from her delight... yes... my lovely daughter's daughter.. Ava became three months old the first of September. A *huge* thanks to Randall and Rose for an impromptu visit on my birthday resulting in these shots. We would have put a nice dress on, had we known.... I love autumn. It makes me happy. I am filled with more energy when there is a crisp coolness in the air. It makes me feel a little more alive. The changing colors of the leaves are beautiful. The cold winds are nice after a long hot summer. And you? Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts.
My daughter and her daughter.......... 
It is with great joy that I announce my daughter and her husband are the proud parents of Ava Katherine, born 1015, June 1. The due date was June 21, but she decided it was time to arrive. She weighs 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and has lots of dark hair and eyes of blue. She is perfectly healthy and beautiful and very quiet natured. She is alert and... well....... wonderful in every way. My daughter had some difficulty with the birth but received excellent care. They are both doing exceedingly well. What a lovely surprise! Along with her amazing husband, her sister and I were there for the birth, which is exactly as she wished. We almost didn't make it to the hospital in time. She almost gave birth in the car, things progressed so fast!!! This is her first photo.... moments after birth.... There will be more soon.

Having just posted a photograph of baby in utero, I realize I never shared one of their wedding.
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival. Here is a sneak preview. 
We are overjoyed. This is so exciting!!!
As many of you recall, and some ridiculed (in good fun) http://charlk.multiply.com/journal/item/38, I had a car accident earlier this year. Well, I can report that I had my final appointment with my neurologist this afternoon. All clear. All healed. In fact, he said he hopes he never sees me again! So now, if I act stupid or forget things, it's just because I let down my super powers shield and revealed my human side. I can't blame anything on the injury. Yeah!!! This makes me very happy.
